Happy New Year...

Today after what has seemed like weeks of rain, we were blessed with beautiful blue skies and that low winters light that makes anyone with a camera dance with excitement. We travelled far to a small and very quiet ice rink to play on in the sunshine. A good start to a year of change ahead.

Happy New Year I hope the sun smiled on you all today too?

  1. So close to us! Right, next time lady - I'm making cake and your boys can meet my boys whilst we discuss cameras... :)

    1. I did wonder if we were close to you, took longer than I thought to trek up there, but a beautiful part of the world I don't know, so it felt quite like an adventure! Any mention of cake and you know we'll be up there! x x

    2. You were about 5 minutes away, we'd be more than happy to show you round if you fancy another foray across the border soon!

  2. It was beautiful light, wasn't it!? My hubby was taking videos of the boys and they turned out to be really lovely. Ice skating is a perfect NY day activity. A very happy new year to you, too. Laura x

  3. I am back at work today - so no glorious summer sunshine for me please. Actually, as it turns out a southerly blew through last night and Sydney's cold. Small things when you've got to go back to work.
Happy New Year to you and yours. I do hope the sun continues to shine where you are.

  4. What a great way to kick off the new year. Hope 2013 is full of good things for the Bradshaws.

  5. Where? where? where? you are always full of so many lovely lovely things that I want to rush out and do straight away. We also went ice skating but on our ice rink there was no fear of falling over for the amount of people there keeping you upright! It was like being on the tube at rush hour!

Looking forward to your newsletter. x
