fourteenth...


an overnight camp, beans for breakfast in the sunshine, unfortunately it was too cloudy to see the Perseid meteor shower!

  1. The perseid peak coincided with the full moon this year so you would have only seen the very brightest meteors anyway, not the whole shower!

    Did you know the Perseids begin in late July and they'll go on for a few more days yet? Of course, the peak is the best time to watch, but given the full moon issue, I've been watching them for a couple of weeks - any time there was a clear night and I've seen some great ones!!
