that friday feeling...

Lunch at Hobbs House Bakery in Nailsworth, a very yummy handmade Scotch egg with tomato chutney from the new lunchtime menu. Delicious and a bit of a treat as I should have been doing chores! I quite fancy having a go at making some myself, great for picnics, anyone got any good recipes?

  1. I LOVE Hobbs House and Nailsworth. We always stop off there when we drive from Malvern to either Bath or Dorset - two favourite destinations. The scotch egg looks fab - really quite jealous!
    Have a lovely weekend x

  2. I used to love scotch eggs pre food intolerances!

There's a recipe in July's Good Food mag (http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1414645/scotch-eggs). Haven't tried it but their recipes are usually pretty good.

  3. Sorry I don't have a recipe but I did try one today from the deli in Broadway, which was made with black pudding not sausage. It was actually really good.

  4. There is a recipe in Gary Rhodes Great British Classics that is well worth having a go at.......
