making conker cobwebs...

Yesterday, we made cobwebs with some of the conkers we found on Saturday. We chose a big conker, then carefully made holes and inserted the cocktail sticks, then wrapped the wool around the sticks to make a web. My seven year old made these easily and relished being allowed to use a tool to make holes in the conker!

  2. Wonderful idea. I can remember making these at school. I had totally forgetten about them until now. I might see if my two boys would like to make them with me. Lou x

  4. Those are really neat. I am not sure what a conker is, but it looks like a chestnut. Are they the same thing?
